On 31 October – 2 November 2022, the OSDG team is heading to Glasgow, United Kingdom. The project team will attend the Times Higher Education (THE) Global Sustainable Development Congress, hosted in partnership with the University of Glasgow.
Entitled ‘Uniting higher education, governments, industry and society for a sustainable future’, the event will gather leaders from higher education, government, industry, and civil society to discuss the challenges faced in converting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into action and impact.
As an Engagement partner, the OSDG team is particularly eager to discuss ways to effectively measure and understand the impact towards the SDGs. We are looking forward to networking with the global higher education community and policymakers and learning about the emerging practices in assessing and measuring the impact of SDG initiatives.
With several successful large-scale SDG assessments in our portfolio, we look forward to sharing our findings and insights about our SDG methodology, SDG-labelled text datasets, and continuous work in defining the relevance of research fields to SDGs through a citizen science exercise.
